All members begin at Level 1 regardless of their expertise or length of time in the L.C.C. In time, five of your images score 18 points or more. You will now advance to Level 2 and must accumulate 10 scores of 20 points or more. Now you advance to Level 3 and must achieve 15 entries scored at 22 points or more. Level 4 needs 15 credits to advance with a score of 24 or more.
Each image submitted (combined slides, prints, and projected), regardless of credit qualification, will count toward the year-end aggregate totals for various awards to be presented during the September Awards Night.
The Slides and Prints Competition Chairpersons will each maintain a Current Register of participating members participation including accumulated credits and points in each category, past results of evaluations for each image submitted, and accurate credits and points in each category. NOTE: A member's level in Slides may be different from his or her level in Prints, because the evaluation criteria for prints will differ from Slides in areas of media, darkroom techniques etc.
All new members start at Level 1. When a member does not participate for more than two full Club years in any category, the points and credits are forfeited in their last level achieved, and the member begins again in that level.
