I AM; THEREFORE I DO
…that sums up my relationship to art…it is life and breath.
I live in Langley, B.C. Canada.
From oil painting to acrylics, from sculpture to wood carving, it seems I have always practiced artwork of one type or another. I have sold many paintings over the years but now photography has grabbed me and taken over my life…at some point it may lead me back to painting but wherever it leads I’ll continue to learn and grow as an artist.
I am also a bit of a nerd, having spent many years in computerized drafting. AutoCAD taught me the bones of design and geometry and painting taught me the techniques of composition. Now I use both my skills and knowledge in capturing the best possible picture, from the time I take off the lens cap all the way to digital post processing.
My subjects are usually, rural and urban scenery, night photography and abstract photography. While travelling I use a digital SLR Canon Rebel to document my experiences.
