Fifth Weds Oct 30

The club will be meeting 30th of October – the fifth Wednesday.

Rick Church and Brian Martin will be presenting shows of some traditional 35mm slides
We rarely get a chance to see the original slides presented properly and they always make for spectacular evening.

We will likely have a bit of time for an equipment session after the break.
Please bring your gear and we will try and match up those with questions to those with answers.

Best Regards,
Glen Mackenzie

Dev Night Oct 16

Wednesday Oct 16, 7pm is the 2nd of 7 lectures in Brian Martin’s ‘Perception and Composition’ series held each Development Night through this season of the Langley Camera Club.  This month’s installment along our path to truly ‘seeing and feeling’ photographically is his lecture and workshop on the ‘The Basics’.

In preparation Brian has asked those planning to attend to first give this article a read …

And then spend a half hour with Evelyn Glennie and her talk on ‘How To Truly Listen’ … Ms. Glennie is one of the world’s top percussionist, she is profoundly deaf.
